Hello, my name is Dmitri Freeman, I'm 19 years old and am currently enrolled in the Community College of Vermont's Writing for Multimedia class...which is where this blog comes into play!
I've lived in Springfield Vermont for just about my entire life (for better or for worse) and this is currently my second year, and third semester at CCV. I was enrolled at Keene State College for my first semester Freshman year, but do to some financial troubles, I was unable to stay enrolled without taking out some rather hefty loans, and my scholarships covered the entire tuition of CCV, so it felt like a no brainier that I should transfer and get the same education while saving so much money.
I'm currently majoring in Multimedia Communications...and what that entitles for me has changed over the last year. While I was at Keene I majored in Film Production, but such a major doesn't exist at CCV, so I went for the more broad Multimedia Communications that encompassed film. Except nowadays, I don't really care much for film anymore and am looking towards more game related stuff. The times change I suppose.
As for non school hobbies, I'm a pretty big video game nut. I have for nearly all my life so that's just something about me. (I'm currently taking up a rather difficult and ambitious game related project that I have no clue if it will pan out, but here's hoping!). Alongside that, I do a lot of things related to music including some original composition. When I have the time, I also do enjoy doing some acting on the side. I don't think I could make a career out of it, but there's nothing stopping it from being a good hobby!
And that's just about the gist of everything. Expect this blog to be updated on a weekly basis. Or I'll get a bad grade. Oh the humanity!
